Welcome to HeatWave Beta
HeatWave is a software tool made by Network Engineers, for Network Engineers. Deploy this tool in the field to quickly determine AP points of interest, identify walls, obstacles and review site surveys with your clients. It comes with an Nmap IP scanner built in for quickly finding Access Points in a given Subnet. Welcome to the Beta Test Program!
What does it do?
Unifi AP Heatmaps
Heatmaps are maps that display a range of signal. They can help network engineers show their clients why they are choosing the locations of AP's and also help with troubleshooting issues in a network. You'd be surprised how impactful pictures are to your clients!
Nmap IP scanner
Nmap is a free and open-source network scanner created by Gordon Lyon. Nmap is used to discover hosts and services on a computer network by sending packets and analyzing the responses. Nmap provides a number of features for probing computer networks, including host discovery and service and operating system detection.
Beta Testing Details
HeatWave is very much in Beta. If you want to support me in my project please consider downloading. However, just adding bugs and reports is good enough for me! Thanks for being apart of the program!
Site Surveys
A site survey is a way to show your clients what's going on in the network. If they are complaining about Signal strength you can use Heatmap to help identify key-points in the network where range could be an issue.
Built Using Python
Python is an interpreted, high-level and general-purpose programming language. Python's design philosophy emphasizes code readability with its notable use of significant indentation.
Ai Visualier (beta)
We use OpenCV Ai for detecting walls in your site photos. This is for later implementation of adding in more features regarding WiFi distribution and signal strength through different types of walls.
